Hello There!
Hi, I’m Michal Stern — founder of Diggin’ Up Fun. I’ve always been fascinated by the ancient world. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures from Tel Aviv University, and spent over eight years working with the Israel Antiquities Authority, uncovering history one dig at a time.

My journey didn’t stop in the trenches of archaeology. I also spent time as a preschool teacher, where I developed a deep appreciation for early childhood education. And perhaps most importantly, I’m a proud mom of two — a role that constantly inspires me to see the world through curious, little eyes.Diggin’ Up Fun is where all of these passions come together. Alongside my daughter Danielle, we bring archaeology to life through playful, hands-on experiences designed to spark curiosity and a love for learning in young children. It's our way of making the past meaningful — and fun — for the next generation.
